Enterprise Architect (Physical AI)

Location: Remote. Ideally based in Rhine-Main, Munich, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, or Cologne/Bonn.

What you will do

• Translate customer business goals into platform value narratives, architecture principles, and adoption strategies.
• Co-create enterprise architectures spanning cloud, edge, operational environments, IT standards, security, governance, and shopfloor systems.
• Design target architectures for software-defined automation, Physical AI integration, and scalable multi-site operations.
• Develop capability frameworks and lead maturity assessment workshops with business, IT, and automation stakeholders.
• Create phased transformation roadmaps with risk mitigation and value-realization plans anchored in customer P&L logic.
• Support Sales and Partner teams with executive value conversations, business cases, expansion narratives, and long-term framework agreements.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, Platform Architect, or IT Transformation Architect.
• Track record delivering large-scale ERP, cloud, or platform transformation programs at enterprise level, such as SAP S/4HANA, Azure, AWS, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales or advisory work, including workshops, business cases, and architecture reviews with C-level stakeholders.
• Background in or significant exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or logistics enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with platform and ecosystem models, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise governance.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, structure complex topics, and work credibly with board-level, CIO, CDO, CTO, and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to OT environments, shopfloor operations, or industrial automation.
• Experience with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or LeanIX.
• Experience working at or with a technology scale-up or product company.
