Medical Director - Multi-State License

Location: 100% remote within the United States; active and unrestricted medical licenses in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania required

Salary: $220,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver telehealth care to adults aged 65 and older, focusing on prevention, weight management, chronic disease management, nutrition, movement, and sleep.
• Model high-quality clinical documentation and medical decision-making for the clinical team.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise physicians and nurse practitioners through provider meetings, complex case discussions, and clinical protocol updates.
• Represent practicing providers in product design and collaborate with administrative and business operations teams.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of clinical staff.
• Develop clinical policies, lead quality improvement initiatives, ensure healthcare regulatory compliance, and serve as Medical Director for CMS innovation model participation.

Requirements

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Lifestyle Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania; a multistate license is preferred.
• Active individual Medicare enrollment in good standing.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience; leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of telehealth experience with strong proficiency in EMRs and communication tools.
• Experience in preventive and lifestyle-focused care, including weight, hypertension, and diabetes management; commitment to data-driven quality improvement and comfort working in a startup environment.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with musculoskeletal conditions and outcome measurement.
• Experience with multistate medical licensing.
