Health Coach

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., and international work is prohibited. Vida must be registered in the state where the employee resides or works. Primary availability is needed Monday–Friday between 8am and 8pm and Saturday from 8am to 12pm in the coach's time zone.

Salary: $30 per hour

hirify.global provides virtual, personalized obesity care for weight management and related conditions including diabetes, hypertension, anxiety, and depression.

What you will do

• Coach members on weight management, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and chronic health concerns.
• Deliver individual and group video consultations and electronic messaging across Vida's mind-and-body programs.
• Use motivational interviewing to help members identify barriers, set SMART goals, and achieve sustainable behavior change.
• Document consultations and member information in Vida's provider platform.
• Coordinate with physicians, dietitians, therapists, and other providers when appropriate.
• Meet consultation-time, quality, and efficiency expectations while following provider policies and training requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in a health-related field such as nutrition, public health, exercise physiology, psychology, health science, or health education.
• Health coaching certification from an accredited NBHWC-approved program.
• At least 3 years of one-on-one health coaching experience after obtaining an approved certification.
• Successful completion of Vida's mock motivational interview session.
• Familiarity with GSuite, Slack, and other basic software applications.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; Vida does not sponsor work visas.

Nice to have

• CHES or NBC-HWC certification.
• Spanish fluency.
