Head of Finance APAC

Location: Germany; hybrid, with less than 50% remote work

What you will do

• Act as the finance business partner for the APAC region and participate in the regional management team.
• Oversee accounting, controlling, compliance, and regional finance services across APAC.
• Lead and develop local accounting and controlling teams, including target setting, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Provide financial input into regional business strategy and implementation.
• Co-steer regional business performance from a CFO perspective.

Requirements

• University degree in economics or business administration with a focus on finance, accounting, and controlling, or equivalent qualifications.
• Familiarity with accounting and tax across APAC.
• 5–10 years of relevant finance management experience with disciplinary leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting in large corporations.
• Experience in business partnering, strategic decision-making, matrix organizations, and collaboration with global finance functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a pragmatic, solution-oriented, and accountable approach.
