Finance Manager

Location: Berlin, Germany; flexible hybrid setup

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 per year, depending on location and profile

What you will do

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• Own in-house accounting for the US and German entities, including reconciliations, monthly close, tax filings, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Partner with the Head of Operations to set company-wide financial targets and track performance.
• Manage revenue operations end to end, including invoicing, billing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Own company expenses and salary payouts, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Build and improve financial processes that support rapid, controlled growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar finance operations role, ideally in a startup.
• Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, accounting across multiple jurisdictions, ideally the US and Germany.
• Understanding of the German accounting and tax system and German language skills.
• Strong understanding of P&L and balance sheet fundamentals.
• Experience owning revenue operations and financial processes end to end.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, proactive, and focused on accuracy.

• Previous experience in a startup environment.
• Direct experience with accounting for both US and German entities.
