Practice Team Nurse / Veterinary Technician

Compensation: $28–$41 per hour, with bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Perform triage, assess patients, record vital signs, and recognize medical emergencies and illnesses.
• Assist doctors with diagnostics, radiography, treatments, and patient monitoring.
• Provide basic husbandry, nursing care, and compassionate support for patients.
• Collect blood, place catheters, prepare reference-lab samples, and run in-house laboratory tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as instructed by the doctor.
• Help maintain a hospitable clinical environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in a general-practice setting.
• Availability to work one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday.
• Ability to use computers and online tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills with clients and a collaborative, proactive approach.
• Passion for working with pets in a fast-paced environment.
