Senior Backend Software Engineer (C)

What you will do

• Develop a unique, scalable, distributed system in a highly multithreaded environment.
• Build core object-oriented software in C with a focus on performance.
• Participate in the full product cycle, from architecture and design through enterprise-level product development.
• Apply software engineering and system-level programming skills within the R&D organization.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or B.A. in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience in software development and system-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and multithreaded programming.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written Hebrew and English are required.
• Creative, independent, and dedicated approach to software development.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with object-oriented programming.
• Background in enterprise storage systems.
• Experience with Linux kernel or driver development.
