Associate, AI Venture Buyouts (AI)

What you will do

• Build and analyze the healthcare buyout deal pipeline, including financials, business models, unit economics, and industry dynamics.
• Lead analytical components of due diligence, develop financial models, and coordinate external diligence advisors.
• Prepare investment memos, market analyses, transaction materials, and support deal structuring, documentation review, and closing.
• Partner with AI and operating teams on post-close transformation workstreams and value-creation initiatives.
• Conduct competitive and market intelligence for portfolio companies.
• Support capital-raising materials, limited partner updates, and internal investment reviews.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development; healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including building, auditing, and interpreting detailed operating models.
• Experience supporting M&A processes, conducting due diligence, or evaluating services businesses.
• Interest in healthcare systems, payer–provider dynamics, and regulatory landscapes.
• Hands-on comfort with AI, automation, and data-driven tools, including building advanced workflows beyond basic LLM usage.
• Strong execution, communication, judgment, collaboration, ownership, and adaptability.
