What you will do

• Lead clinical oversight for all clinical staff within the assigned market and partner with the Market Vice President on market goals and operating plans.
• Develop cost-of-care initiatives using population segmentation, data, and analytics to improve member outcomes.
• Lead clinical quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical risk management initiatives across market locations.
• Provide clinical care for members with complex needs, including chronic disease, behavioral health, palliative care, and substance use conditions.
• Manage provider mentorship, licensing, credentialing, competency, case conferences, and evidence-based clinical standards.
• Build network relationships and collaborate with operations teams on clinical workflows, quality initiatives, and practice efficiency.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical college in the United States or Canada, or an unaccredited medical college outside the United States or Canada.
• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar primary care specialty, with American Board of Medical Specialties certification.
• Current medical license in the state of employment; willingness to obtain licenses in other states as required.
• Basic Life Support certification and DEA licensure, or willingness to acquire DEA licensure.
• 8+ years of direct patient care experience with complex and high-risk patient populations.
• 4+ years of clinical or medical management leadership experience, including value-based care initiatives, quality measures, risk adjustment, population health, multidisciplinary teams, and financial metrics.

Nice to have

• MBA, MPH, or MHA.
• Experience with telemedicine and digital health.
• Experience addressing social determinants of health.
