Internal Communications Specialist

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Melbourne office, Australia

What you will do

• Develop internal announcements, company updates, and milestone communications for a global workforce.
• Plan and manage the internal communications calendar across digital and in-person channels.
• Scale effective Melbourne communications across regional offices and multiple time zones.
• Build stakeholder relationships across leadership levels and business entities to surface and amplify relevant stories.
• Manage communication systems and channels, including Slack and the intranet.
• Plan and deliver leadership connection events such as all-hands meetings and Ask Me Anything sessions, while measuring communication effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in internal communications, content, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different leaders and audiences.
• Proven stakeholder management experience across executive and frontline levels.
• Hands-on experience with Slack, Canva, and Confluence or similar platforms.
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage a busy content calendar.
• Sharp visual judgement, proactive working style, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

• Additional language skills.
• Interest in livestreaming, gaming, crypto, or technology.
• Understanding of internet culture and communication preferences across global audiences.
• Experience working across different cultures or markets.
