What you will do

• Select comparable properties, analyze market data, and complete residential valuations using established techniques and methodologies.
• Prepare accurate, high-quality appraisal reports and manage daily assignment capacity.
• Communicate with the operating team and client points of contact to provide high levels of customer service.
• Participate in mentorship and training, and occasionally work with trainees.
• Maintain continuing education and credentialization requirements.
• Recommend improvements to business operations and data collection, and advise management and engineering executives on product decisions, process flows, and compensation plans.

Requirements

• Certified residential appraiser with the ability to perform reliable residential valuations across most property types and complexities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with technology, including software, applications, and databases.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage appraisal assignments effectively.
• Valid driver's license for fieldwork.
• Comfort working outdoors at construction and remote sites in all seasons and weather, including walking long distances over uneven or icy terrain and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
