IT Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Implement, configure, maintain, and monitor SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and other security technologies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Participate in incident response, including containment, eradication, recovery, and security investigations.
• Analyze security logs, alerts, and other security data, and prepare reports on threats, trends, and patterns.
• Perform security assessments, audits, and inspections while maintaining security documentation and procedures.
• Support security policy implementation, regulatory compliance, employee awareness programs, and evaluation of emerging security technologies.

Requirements

• Professional experience as an IT Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Experience with incident response and security investigations.
• Knowledge of security best practices and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
