What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve web platform features across the frontend and CMS backend.
• Build backend functionality in PHP and Laravel for integrations, dynamic features, and internal tooling.
• Drive architectural improvements that increase robustness, scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.
• Extend and optimize CMS and publishing workflows for efficient content operations.
• Improve performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and technical SEO across the platform.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, product, and engineering while interfacing with C++ backend systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience building and shipping production-grade web platforms, applications, or systems.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems in sophisticated web codebases.
• Strong full stack engineering skills with backend experience in PHP, Laravel, or similar frameworks.
• Strong frontend fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and maintainable user-interface development.
• Sound judgment in architectural and technical trade-offs, with ownership of code quality and maintainability.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Statamic CMS or static site generation.
• Experience with Jenkins or similar deployment tools.
• Familiarity with Tailwind, Alpine, or similar frontend tools.
• Experience optimizing performance-critical, SEO-relevant, or content-heavy platforms.
• Familiarity with Python for automation and tooling, or integrations with non-web backend systems.
