Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP/Vue)

Location: Remote from Germany; company offices in Hamburg and Berlin

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Build high-traffic web applications with PHP, Laravel, Vue, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Design and develop internal and external RESTful APIs and background jobs handling peak volumes above 1 million jobs per hour.
• Lead the technical conception of features supporting newly designed business processes.
• Own features from initial implementation through production operation, including health, performance, and maintainability.
• Deploy code multiple times a day through GitLab CI/CD to AWS Elastic Container Service.
• Monitor applications with Datadog dashboards and alerting while collaborating in a pragmatic agile team.

Requirements

• Excellent coding skills in PHP 8 with Laravel, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Professional experience with Vue 3 and building complex products with strong user experiences.
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end, integration, and unit tests.
• Expertise in designing, securing, and scaling RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS, Git, Valkey or an equivalent technology, and relational database design and performance optimization, including MySQL 8.
• Ready to work in an English-speaking environment and remotely from Germany.

• Experience with Inertia.js.
• Experience with SCSS or Tailwind CSS.
