Engineer Operational Excellence (Biotech)

What you will do

• Support the generation and automation of KPI reporting while maintaining data integrity and usability.
• Explore operational data and perform statistical analysis to identify trends, variation, and process deviations.
• Apply Statistical Process Control and Quality Control methods to improve process stability.
• Execute Lean initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen events, and Six Sigma projects.
• Partner with operations teams to pilot, measure, and scale process improvements.
• Document operational issues and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Software, and Product teams on prioritization and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, operations, or continuous improvement, ideally in biotech, diagnostics, or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with SPC, QC tools, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and data accuracy skills.
