Staff Product Certification Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within Europe; occasional travel to hirify.global offices is required

hirify.global develops post-quantum cryptography and hardware security products, including cryptographic IP, software libraries, Root of Trust technologies, and secure platforms for cloud, edge, automotive, industrial, and government applications.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the global certification and regulatory compliance strategy across hardware, software, and platform products.
• Define certification roadmaps aligned with business objectives and frameworks such as CRA, NIS2, and EO 14028.
• Advise architects and engineering teams on certification-driven design, assurance frameworks, formal verification, automation, and security-by-design.
• Oversee certification programs from planning through certification and maintenance, including schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, metrics, and governance.
• Lead engagement with certification laboratories, accreditation bodies, evaluators, assessors, standards organizations, and industry alliances.
• Support customers, audits, RFPs, technical due diligence, standards activities, and the development of certification capabilities across the organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in security certification and product assurance, including leadership of complex programs from strategy through certification and maintenance.
• Deep expertise in multiple security certification frameworks and standards, with experience influencing product architecture to meet certification objectives.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor security, cryptography, Root of Trust technologies, embedded systems, and hardware security architectures.
• Experience working with certification laboratories, accreditation bodies, standards organizations, and regulatory or compliance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills across technical, commercial, and regulatory domains.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related discipline; experience using AI tools for productivity gains.

Nice to have

• Experience with FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria evaluations, protection profiles, or post-quantum cryptography certification.
• Experience with secure elements, smart cards, Root of Trust technologies, hardware security modules, side-channel analysis, fault injection, or tamper resistance.
• Knowledge of formal verification, security assurance techniques, or certification scheme development.
• Existing network within certification laboratories, standards bodies, or industry associations.
