What you will do

• Perform comprehensive risk assessments using TARA processes and identify critical attack vectors.
• Derive cybersecurity goals and requirements for hardware, firmware, and system-level designs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures like secure boot, cryptography, and key management.
• Ensure traceability of security requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support validation activities, penetration testing, and compliance audits against standards like ISO 21434 and IEC 62443.

Requirements

• Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Electrical, Computer, or Automotive Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in automotive or embedded systems cybersecurity.
• Deep understanding of MCU/SoC design constraints and real-time environments.
• Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Proven ability to define cybersecurity goals and ensure traceability.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in fuzzing, robustness testing, and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements like UNECE R155/R156 and CRA.
• Exposure to hardware security modules (HSM, TPM, Secure Element).
• Understanding of SBOM and PSIRT processes.
