Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Remote) - New York License

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; active New York practice license required

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 USD annually, based on experience prescribing MOUD

What you will do

• Determine individualized treatment plans for patients with opioid use disorder and selected mental health conditions.
• Conduct intake and follow-up visits, behavioral health evaluations, and evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Monitor symptoms, side effects, treatment adherence, clinical response, and potential complications.
• Prescribe or queue appropriate medications and educate patients about opioid use disorder and MOUD.
• Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with clinicians, triage nurses, care coordinators, and external mental health providers.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active DEA license for Schedule 3N, 4, and 5 medications, or willingness to obtain one after receiving an offer.
• Full license to practice in New York is required.
• Experience caring for people with opioid use disorder is beneficial, but MOUD experience is not required and training is provided.
• Working knowledge of substance use disorder differential diagnosis, psychopharmacology, psychosocial treatments, counseling, or brief behavioral interventions.
• Ability to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental, patient-centered care in a remote telehealth and team-based environment.

Nice to have

• Additional licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Maryland.
• Previous experience prescribing MOUD or caring for patients with opioid use disorder.
