Mid or Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue)

What you will do

• Own frontend development for product features, from UI concepts through implementation.
• Collaborate with Product and Design on user experience flows and interface iteration.
• Build a cohesive customer experience across the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Write reusable, testable code and contribute to a maintainable frontend codebase.
• Consult on feature requests, customer feedback, and future product development.
• Promote documentation, collaboration, and frontend engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Vue.js or 5+ years for senior-level experience, including Vue 3 and modern Vue paradigms where possible.
• 3+ years of custom web application development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience building reactive user interfaces and consumer-facing single-page applications.
• Experience working with Product and Design teams to develop user experience flows.
• Ability to write reusable, testable code and work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
• Experience with Git, frontend state management, and frontend testing practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pinia or an equivalent frontend state management tool.
• Experience with Vitest and Vue Testing Library.
• Familiarity with npm, Vite, PHP, Laravel, jQuery, or mixed SPA/MPA codebases.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications with current frontend practices and technologies.
• Interest in using AI as an assistant while maintaining human-authored and human-understood code.
