Senior Web Engineer II (Vue)

What you will do

• Lead small engineering pods in taking complex buyer-facing features from discovery through production delivery.
• Drive the migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3 using the Composition API and modern build tools.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications for feed, discovery, search, and listing details.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, rendering performance, and state management efficiency.
• Partner with Product and Design to deliver polished user experiences.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience focused on high-scale web applications.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, including the event loop, DOM API, and browser rendering.
• Proven experience with Vue 2 and Vue 3; experience migrating between the versions is highly preferred.
• Experience leading small teams or project pods and driving features to completion.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX and a focus on creating polished web experiences.
• Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
