Senior Logistics Coordinator I (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the production facility in Middle River, Maryland, United States

Salary: $23.08–$28.50 USD per hour

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule transportation, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, ITAR, and applicable export requirements.
• Improve logistics processes, develop contingency plans, and manage disruption risks.
• Build vendor relationships, evaluate performance, and support logistics staff.
• Track logistics KPIs, prepare performance reports, and coordinate with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, customs, and required documentation.
• Knowledge of IATA and IMDG requirements.
• Experience with Windows and a fully integrated ERP system.
• For U.S. office work, eligibility to access ITAR-regulated technology is required: U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, qualifying refugee or asylum status, or the required government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP and Transportation Management Systems.
• Active dangerous goods certification.
• Experience coordinating air, ocean, trucking, and parcel shipments.
• Experience in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
