Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with an office in San Francisco, California

Base salary: $190,000–$205,000 per year, plus equity and discretionary performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Own and extend the VUI design system, including tokens, structure, and component health across platforms.
• Use AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and v0 to audit, improve, and scale the design system.
• Define transition animations and interaction patterns, and create implementation-ready prototypes.
• Design cross-product platform experiences across search, growth entry points, and end-to-end journeys.
• Partner with engineering to keep design intent and implementation closely aligned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products end to end.
• Experience designing mobile products for iOS and Android and responsive web experiences; mobile-first expertise is required.
• Experience owning or contributing to design systems at scale, including tokenization and component architecture.
• Strong command of transition animations, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping.
• Experience with cross-product or platform-level design, A/B testing, systems thinking, and rapid execution.
• Portfolio demonstrating high craft, design thinking, shipped work, and strong collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with growth design, activation flows, upgrade moments, conversion surfaces, or product-led growth.
• Experience designing creative tools, photography products, or products for creative communities.
• Familiarity with design token architecture and cross-platform theming.
