Video Lead (AI)

Location: NY; founding role on the new Los Angeles office team

Lotus is building an AI-powered primary-care product backed by Kleiner Perkins and CRV.

What you will do

• Turn content strategy and story selections into finished video pieces.
• Create high-volume short-form content with fast, frequent output.
• Generate AI video using Runway, Veo, and Kling.
• Edit traditional video and optimize hooks, pacing, and viewer retention.
• Run small shoots independently when footage of founders, physicians, or patients is needed.
• Execute briefs independently under the Content Director.

Requirements

• Deep daily fluency with AI video generation tools, including Runway, Veo, and Kling.
• Strong traditional video editing skills.
• Sharp short-form retention instincts and understanding of hooks and pacing.
• Ability to run a small shoot solo without a full crew or studio setup.
• Ability to execute briefs independently with frequent output.

• Documentary or cinematic shooting background.
