Video Producer & Editor (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid work arrangement with on-site availability in Milpitas, California, and travel to customer and deployment sites as needed

What you will do

• Develop video concepts that make technical milestones, product capabilities, and customer experiences clear and engaging.
• Lead production from concept through final edit, including scripts, storyboards, interviews, shot lists, schedules, equipment, crew, and locations.
• Film robots, people, and industrial environments in laboratories and deployment sites using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Edit product demos, prototype tests, product reveals, deployment stories, customer testimonials, and brand films with strong pacing, sound, color, captions, and basic motion graphics.
• Adapt video content for the website, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and events while maintaining a searchable footage library and production calendar.
• Work with engineers to represent robot capabilities and test conditions accurately.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional video production experience with ownership of planning, shooting, and editing.
• Portfolio demonstrating creativity, visual storytelling, and production craft.
• Experience with cameras, lighting, audio, and editing software such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to turn loosely defined requests into clear concepts and production plans.
• Familiarity with hardware or technical products and interest in robotics.
• Ability to work on-site in Milpitas and travel to customer and deployment sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience filming robotics, manufacturing, industrial environments, or other technical subjects.
• Experience conducting interviews and producing customer stories.
• Photography, motion graphics, or basic 3D animation skills.
• Experience establishing an in-house production workflow.
• Curiosity about AI video generation and AI-assisted creative tools.
