Location: Hybrid in Manchester, England, with attendance at the Manchester City Centre office when needed

What you will do
- Build and ship production AI features using OpenAI, Langfuse, and Vertex AI.
- Own complete features end-to-end, from ambiguous requirements and architectural design through production release.
- Design and scale production-grade applications and healthcare infrastructure.
- Influence the technical stack, engineering standards, and product roadmap in collaboration with the VP of Engineering.
- Run architectural spikes, conduct code reviews, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Proven experience shipping production-grade applications from scratch.
- Strong understanding of system design, technical trade-offs, and feature scalability.
- Ability to turn loose product requirements into technical execution plans.
- Readiness to influence technical direction and raise engineering standards.
- Experience with AI products or active use of AI tools in daily engineering work.
