Senior Project Manager Funding & Strategic Projects (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Lead public funding projects supporting the company’s growth and innovation strategy, including IPCEI and European Chips Act initiatives.
• Identify and assess funding opportunities aligned with the technology roadmap.
• Support grant applications, proposal writing, submissions, reporting, and negotiations with national and EU funding authorities.
• Coordinate technical, financial, legal, and IP stakeholders across cross-functional projects.
• Build strategic partnerships with industry players, research institutions, funding bodies, and government stakeholders.
• Monitor funding landscapes and provide strategic input for R&D and business development planning.

Requirements

• Degree in physics, electrical engineering, business engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in funding project management.
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams across technical, financial, and legal/IP functions.
• Strong project management, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent German and English language skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with IPCEI, the European Chips Act, or other strategic publicly funded innovation projects.
• PhD and/or industry experience.
• Knowledge of ferroelectric HfO₂ memory technology or silicon/CMOS technology.
