Senior Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Secure the platform end-to-end, including customer-facing APIs, real-time conversation systems, and sensitive customer data.
• Build role-based access controls, permissions models, and audit logging for enterprise customers.
• Develop vulnerability scanning, dependency auditing, secrets management, and automated security detection tooling.
• Write production-quality code and security features rather than focusing only on compliance reviews or ticket creation.
• Work with backend and infrastructure engineers to embed security into system architecture.
• Shape secure engineering practices across the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with a strong software engineering foundation.
• Experience securing production systems that handle sensitive data.
• Ability to write production-quality code and build security tooling.
• Comfort across application, infrastructure, and cloud security.
• Experience or interest in security challenges specific to AI agents, including prompt injection and data leakage.
• Technologies include Python with Django or FastAPI, TypeScript with Node, AWS, Modal, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
