Cardiac Group Education Instructor (Cardiac Rehabilitation)

Location: United States - Remote. Part-time virtual schedule: 9am–2pm ET on Saturday or Sunday, and 10am–4pm ET on Wednesday or Friday.

Compensation: $30 per completed 60-minute group education session.

What you will do

• Facilitate virtual cardiac rehabilitation education classes for enrolled patients.
• Teach heart disease recovery, risk-factor management, nutrition, heart-healthy habits, stress management, exercise, and medication adherence.
• Lead interactive discussions, encourage participation, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and patient needs.
• Incorporate light guided stretches or simple exercises when appropriate.
• Monitor engagement, respond to patient questions, and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Maintain a professional, supportive, and inclusive virtual learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience teaching, facilitating, or presenting clinical educational content to groups.
• Strong communication, presentation, public-speaking, and teaching skills.
• Comfort engaging groups in a virtual environment and explaining health concepts in patient-friendly language.
• Ability to lead light stretches or basic exercises safely.
• Ability to engage patients with different learning styles.
• Availability for the stated ET schedule and ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Background in exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, nursing, health coaching, nutrition or dietetics, health education, or kinesiology.
• Experience with cardiac patients or chronic disease populations.
• Familiarity with cardiac rehabilitation or preventive health programs.
• Experience teaching virtual or online classes.
