Junior Associate - Data Strategy (ESG Data)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Remote or hybrid working is available, with flexibility to work from home, the office, or abroad.

hirify.global is a sustainability technology company using AI and machine learning to provide ESG data, methodologies, and tools for investors, governments, companies, and consumers.

What you will do

• Collect, verify, and process sustainability data from financial, exchange, and government websites and official reports.
• Support data-collection projects through data analysis, quality assurance, and data monitoring.
• Research ESG reporting standards and contribute to methodologies for collecting high-quality data.
• Mentor and train external contractors and internal colleagues on ESG indicators and sustainability frameworks.
• Contribute to ad hoc team projects.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor's degree in sustainability, finance, economics, international relations, accounting, environmental studies, or a related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, database applications, and BI tools such as Quicksight.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail when working with complex datasets.
• Proactive, independent, and motivated approach with a strong interest in sustainability and impact.
• Excellent written and spoken English at minimum C1 level.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or business intelligence tools.
• Experience in data collection, data research, or similar roles.
• Experience in a startup or technology company.
