BI Developer (Power BI)

Location: Stockport, United Kingdom; hybrid working with home-based work twice a week, subject to travel times. Offices are located in Stockport and Leicester.

What you will do

• Provide service desk support for BI tools and reports, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and business leaders and align solutions with business needs.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries using data from the localized data warehouse.
• Maintain report specifications, process documentation, and user guides.
• Participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute to team priorities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar BI role.
• Previous experience with Power BI or another business analytics and data visualization tool such as Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data organization, data flows, and competent T-SQL skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in remote and face-to-face team environments and deliver under tight timescales.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.
