TL;DR
Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Building intuitive, responsive, and performant web applications for a machine-learning-driven real estate decarbonization platform with an accent on accessibility, maintainability, and exceptional user experiences. Focus on translating UI/UX designs and product requirements into polished interfaces, creating automated test suites, and advancing the frontend framework and tooling.
Location: Hybrid role based in one of the North American hubs: San Francisco, New York, or Waterloo; authorization to work in the United States or Canada is required.

What you will do
- Translate product requirements, technical requirements, design concepts, and test plans into web application features.
- Build intuitive, responsive, performant, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces.
- Handle error conditions gracefully and create exceptional user experiences.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineering colleagues.
- Create automated test suites and conduct thorough software testing.
- Advance the frontend framework, platform, and development tools as the product scales.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong web development background.
- Proficiency with React, Vue, or a similar web framework.
- Solid computer science and algorithmic fundamentals.
- Ability to evaluate multiple solutions, make technical trade-offs, and apply the YAGNI principle.
- Creative debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript, Next, Recharts, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, or CDK.
