What you will do

• Support Release of Information Specialists in resolving issues related to fulfilling patient medical record requests.
• Perform data entry and quality control for medical record request fulfillment.
• Research and resolve workflow and record issues to minimize turnaround delays.
• Communicate with Customer Service, Billing & Collections, Quality Control, and other departments to resolve request issues.
• Identify and escalate critical and important issues to management.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience with hirify.global HDS in Quality Control, Credit & Collections, or Customer Service; 1 year or more preferred.
• Ability to use electronic record workflow systems, Record Management, Intranet, Exceptions Management, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, productivity, and professionalism in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of materials.
• Maintain patient, employee, and volunteer privacy, comply with HIPAA and other applicable regulations, and maintain current annual HIPAA certification.
