What you will do
- Build and maintain CI/CD and build pipelines for a large, fast-moving codebase.
- Develop tooling to package, version, and deploy software to physical robots in the field.
- Provision, operate, and improve cloud infrastructure supporting builds, deployments, data, and backend services.
- Maintain Docker-based development, testing, and deployment environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and telemetry across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with robot software, fleet, and AI engineers to support their deployment needs.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience with DevOps, CI/CD, build systems, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS, including compute, storage, and networking.
- Practical experience with Docker and container-based workflows.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or a similar CI system and reliable pipeline design.
- Comfort operating, debugging, and automating Linux systems, with an end-to-end ownership and reliability mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying software to physical devices, edge hardware, or robots, including OTA updates or fleet rollouts.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with build systems such as Bazel at scale.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and telemetry pipelines.
- Interest in robotics and the challenges of shipping software to real-world machines.
