Senior Investment Strategist (Fintech)

Location: Onsite – SoHo, New York City

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Conduct research on portfolio construction, direct indexing, tax optimization, and systematic or factor-based strategies.
• Analyze and improve custom index models and strategy templates across asset classes, focusing on scalability and personalization.
• Build analytical tools and workflows for designing, deploying, and evaluating custom index portfolios.
• Develop investment frameworks supporting ESG preferences, factor exposures, sector preferences, and tax constraints.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Investments teams to translate research into platform features.
• Use advisor feedback and usage patterns to guide portfolio design, product priorities, and platform evolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio strategy, or asset management.
• Expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk modeling, or security selection.
• Experience with direct indexing, tax optimization, factor investing, and systematic strategies.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, plus Bloomberg and portfolio analytics platforms.
• Experience building investment solutions with product and engineering teams and authoring investment research or thought leadership.
• Undergraduate degree required; CFA Institute Charterholder preferred.
