Manager - Fund Accounting (Private Markets)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of fund accountants, providing technical guidance, training, and coaching.
• Oversee end-to-end fund accounting for private markets clients, including daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations.
• Review and approve complex accounting entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and regulatory reports.
• Manage client deliverables, onboarding, and transitions while coordinating with internal teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Act as a primary client contact, prepare meeting materials, and develop ongoing client relationships.
• Coordinate external audits and third-party reporting while supporting client service plans, calendars, and timelines.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledgers, and financial statements within private markets.
• Experience as a people manager or supervisor with a track record of coaching direct reports.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Geneva, Advent, or Multifonds, plus Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or CA; nearly or fully qualified candidates considered.
• University degree in accounting, business, or a related financial discipline.
