Data Engineer (3D AI)

Location: Hybrid (Shanghai) with remote options available.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain end-to-end 3D data governance and enhancement pipelines.
• Build internal data cleaning, annotation, and visualization tools using Python and C++.
• Manage data pipelines and coordinate the integration of data cleaning solutions.
• Monitor 3D asset quality and optimize data infrastructure automation.
• Participate in CI/CD process setup and maintain high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements

• Background in computer graphics or relevant project experience.
• Familiarity with mesh data structures (GLB, OBJ, USD, FBX) and geometric processing fundamentals.
• Strong Python development skills and proficiency with graphics/data processing libraries.
• Experience handling large-scale datasets.
• Strong documentation skills for RFCs and technical specifications.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C++ and CUDA programming for high-performance indexing or search engines.
• Experience with generative AI 3D products.
• Familiarity with big data platforms like Databricks or vector databases.
• Experience coordinating external annotation teams or managing outsourced projects.
• Interest in 3D printing, laser engraving, or independent game development.
