AI/ML Engineer

Location: Remote - Canada

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 base per year, with potential additional equity or bonus/commission compensation.

What you will do

• Apply and extend proprietary algorithmic tools for unsupervised learning and large-scale perception problems.
• Develop and maintain tools for deep learning experiments, new customer functionality, and system edge cases.
• Investigate and iterate on novel AI research directions.
• Collaborate with software and autonomous vehicle engineers to deploy algorithms on internal and customer vehicle platforms.
• Deliver solutions for customer projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada for this remote role.
• Experience working with neural networks and TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
• Fluency in Python and working knowledge of C/C++ programming.
• Strong interest in unsupervised learning, computer vision, or the autonomous vehicle industry.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical optimism, strong attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
