Salary: $275,000 - $370,000 USD

What you will do

• Define core metrics, build measurement frameworks, and maintain reporting to evaluate product success.
• Perform deep dives into product and user data to derive actionable insights and influence roadmaps.
• Apply rigorous causal inference methods, including controlled experiments and synthetic controls, to make recommendations.
• Build statistical models, optimization frameworks, and simulations to automate decision-making.
• Present complex technical analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Establish foundational data practices and scale analytics infrastructure to support rapid iteration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Deep expertise with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Expertise in experimental design, causal inference, statistical modeling, and A/B testing frameworks.
• Must be based in or be able to work from San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML products, large language models (LLMs), or developer tools.
• Familiarity with software development workflows and engineering productivity metrics.
• Experience analyzing human-AI interaction patterns, particularly in code generation.
• Experience supporting B2B sales teams with data-driven insights.
