Quantitative Trader - Entry Level 2027 (C++/Python)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; on-site. Candidates must be able to live in or relocate to Chicago.

What you will do

• Assist with order execution, trade checking, and trade reconciliations.
• Participate in strategy meetings and collaborate on position management.
• Lead and contribute to quantitative development projects for trader-facing technologies.
• Conduct quantitative research and apply quantitative strategies to market-making operations.
• Analyze large datasets to generate insights supporting trading strategies.
• Complete hands-on training in option valuation, game theory, hedging, portfolio analysis, and simulated trading.

Requirements

• Graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Strong quantitative thinking, analytical ability, and data analysis skills.
• Confident and concise communication, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Training or demonstrated ability to learn programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
• Ability to live in or relocate to Chicago and work on-site during business hours.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial markets and the trading industry.
