Graduate Quant Researcher (AI)

Location: Chicago, with a 7-week training period based in London. Relocation support is provided for the transition.

Salary: $150,000–175,000 per year, dependent on education and experience.

What you will do

• Design, evaluate, and continuously improve automated trading algorithms.
• Build quantitative pricing models, including American option pricing and volatility models.
• Research and analyze trading data to identify and test new trading opportunities.
• Complete two project rotations after the London training program.
• Apply quantitative research methods to real-world data with varied volumes, sampling frequencies, and domains.

Requirements

• Be studying toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, or physics.
• Have programming experience in at least one of Python, C++, or C#.
• Demonstrate interest in improving trading strategies and identifying new opportunities.
• Be motivated by quantitative research, financial services, and trading, with knowledge of financial markets.
• Be willing to adopt and use emerging AI technologies.
• Demonstrate critical problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
