AI Engineer (Robotics): Building agentic systems and internal agent infrastructure for strategy workflows, deal sourcing, CRM automation, market intelligence, and executive decision-making with an accent on production LLM pipelines, data integrations, and reusable platform primitives. Focus on designing self-improvement loops, evaluating and observing agents, and translating technical systems into commercial and strategic outcomes.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States. Employment authorization is verified through E-Verify after an offer.

What you will do
- Build and operate AI agents and pipelines for deal sourcing, qualification, market mapping, customer discovery, due diligence, contract triage, executive communications, and CRM automation.
- Collaborate directly with the CSO on strategic initiatives, analytical frameworks, GTM, partnerships, fundraising, modeling, and customer-data strategy.
- Develop the shared internal agent platform that enables teams to build and run agents safely and observably.
- Create reusable agent patterns and primitives adopted across the company.
- Integrate strategy, finance, product, engineering, and operations through dashboards, scenario planning, and workflow automation.
- Own agent feedback loops and design self-improvement systems.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering.
- End-to-end ownership of ambitious AI-native projects at a frontier startup or research lab.
- Production experience with agentic workflows and modern AI tools, including OpenAI or Anthropic agent SDKs and open-source tools.
- Experience with Python, data engineering, API integrations, and workflow automation.
- Experience with LLM evaluations, observability, and optimization using tools such as Langfuse or Weights & Biases.
- Ability to move between technical implementation, strategic thinking, coding, and prompt writing.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of robotics, autonomous vehicles, enterprise AI, or similar markets.
- Experience building analytical tools from zero to one that influenced business decisions.
- Background in venture capital, corporate development, or strategic consulting.
