Product Manager: Whitelabel & Sourced Tools

Location: Hybrid role based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with in-office presence required on core days from Tuesday through Thursday. Candidates must live in Chattanooga or be willing to relocate. Occasional travel to San Luis Obispo, California, and/or Stuttgart, Germany, may be required for training and development.

hirify.global operates a global repair community, online repair documentation platform, and catalog of repair parts and tools.

What you will do

• Research the repair market and hirify.global’s catalog to identify product gaps and prepare business proposals.
• Source domestic and overseas manufacturers and negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, tooling, and payment terms.
• Build landed-cost models and propose retail pricing for the web store, Amazon, and wholesale channels.
• Guide products through compliance, packaging, barcodes, sampling, and launch.
• Evaluate product samples hands-on and manage products from first sample through launch.
• Monitor sales and margins and drive pricing changes, re-sourcing, and end-of-life decisions.

Requirements

• Experience sourcing products and negotiating with overseas manufacturers.
• Knowledge of market research, negotiation, margin analysis, and business case development.
• Clear written communication, including communication with non-native English speakers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent spreadsheet skills.
• Availability for a hybrid schedule with regular in-office work in Chattanooga and 40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with product lifecycles, bill of materials management, and product revisions.
• Private-label or store-brand program experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system.
• Familiarity with consumer product compliance, including REACH, Prop 65, and safety certifications.
• Amazon marketplace and GS1 barcode experience.
