Test Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, manufacturing, implementation, and maintenance of test assets, facilities, fixtures, and rigs.
• Design tooling, adapters, panels, and supporting hardware for test setups.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for vehicle subsystems.
• Operate and troubleshoot pumps, motors, heat exchangers, high-voltage components, valves, regulators, accumulators, tubing, and fittings.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to align testing requirements.
• Maintain test records and technical reports while identifying improvements to testing methods and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
• Industry experience owning a project through its full lifecycle, especially in aerospace or high-performance engineering.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanics of materials, and mechanical design.
• Ability to work on-site in Atlanta and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export-control regulations or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD software; NX is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
