What you will do

  • Develop and execute detailed electrical and environmental validation plans for systems, subassemblies, and components.
  • Support hardware bring-up and contract manufacturing NPI engineering through electrical qualification, debugging, and test-script development.
  • Coordinate test costs, schedules, hardware allocation, software readiness, equipment procurement, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Automate test setups for devices under test, environmental chambers, traffic generators, oscilloscopes, and other equipment.
  • Analyze results, identify design issues, track bugs, recommend corrective actions, verify fixes, and release test reports.
  • Evaluate technical readiness for manufacturing and improve test cost, consistency, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 0–5 years of experience in electrical design validation for telecom or data center product development.
  • Solid understanding of networking product design and operation, including operating systems and traffic-generation tools such as IXIA or SmartBits.
  • Experience with automated Python testing, environmental stress testing, voltage and temperature margining, and test-equipment control.
  • Hands-on hardware bring-up experience with I2C, PCIe, SMBus, SERDES, and SoC technologies.
  • Knowledge of signal and power integrity, reliability, quality, optical modules, high-speed scopes, and logic analyzers.

  • Experience testing optical modules and liquid-cooled products.
