Customer Funds Reconciliation Analyst

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite

What you will do

• Own reconciliations for customer funds and cost of sales in collaboration with accounting and reporting teams.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and resolve reconciliation variances.
• Improve internal reporting processes and create better templates for customer funds analysis.
• Maintain financial controls and KPIs, and support account managers with reconciliation questions.
• Collaborate with global partners across departments to implement improved ways of working.
• Handle accounting and reconciliation data confidentially and fairly.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics, or at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• English proficiency sufficient to lead meetings and presentations.
• Advanced spoken and written Spanish is required.
• Comfort working across multiple systems and software, including Microsoft Dynamics, BigQuery, Excel, and Power Query.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in investigating financial data and discrepancies.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines during month-end close and collaborate with remote, global teams.

Nice to have

• Ability to code, particularly with Python.
• Fluent spoken Spanish.
