Full Stack Engineer (Crypto)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid workplace. Fully remote candidates are not accepted. Significant flexibility is available for working from home and working hours. UK work permits are offered and relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end applications for new trading products, client-facing portals, and internal trading applications.
• Design and implement backend services, REST and WebSocket APIs, data models, and trading and market-data interfaces.
• Build modern frontends for traders, clients, and customer lifecycle experiences.
• Own features across the full stack and contribute to platform and portal architecture from scratch.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, trading, and engineering teams.
• Oversee or support corporate website frontend development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience across backend and frontend.
• Strong backend engineering skills with Go and/or Python, including service, API, and data-model design.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, the Node/npm ecosystem, and React or a comparable modern framework.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, cloud platforms, and AWS services.
• Experience with relational databases, caching, schema design, and efficient queries.
• Understanding of secure end-to-end development, OWASP risks, authentication, authorization, secrets handling, testing, and real-time browser data streaming.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with client-facing financial or professional-services products.
• Fintech, crypto, or algorithmic-trading experience.
• Experience with a comparable frontend framework to React.
