Unity Developer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and implement gameplay systems and generalist Unity engineering solutions.
• Write maintainable, reusable, well-architected code and modify Unity engine code when required.
• Develop, test, debug, profile, refactor, and optimize code.
• Identify technical risks and obstacles, then develop solutions to address them.
• Document and peer-review technical designs and code with software engineers.
• Collaborate with QA and internal stakeholders to define requirements and support testing.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of game industry experience and at least one shipped title.
• Experience designing and implementing game development systems, including game mechanics.
• Professional Unity 3D development experience and C++ proficiency.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, memory management, multithreaded programming, cross-platform development, and 3D mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scrum or Agile development.
• Automotive HMI development experience.
