Senior / Staff Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Design developer tools, scalable CI/CD pipelines, and improvements to engineering DORA metrics.
• Build reusable, versioned Terraform modules, migration playbooks, and golden paths for infrastructure adoption.
• Design AI engineering systems including model gateways, MCP servers, tool surfaces, prompt assets, cost budgets, and execution guardrails.
• Build evaluation harnesses to measure coding-agent quality, adoption, and outcomes.
• Implement least-privilege IAM, secrets hygiene, policy-as-code, structured logging, tracing, and SLOs-as-code.
• Maintain team-owned tooling, resolve production CI/CD issues, lead cross-team initiatives, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Proven platform engineering experience and mastery of one programming language: Go, TypeScript, Python, or Java/Kotlin, plus proficiency in a second.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, resilience patterns, TDD/BDD, feature flags, safe refactoring, and data system evolution.
• Deep experience with LLMs and coding agents, including harness design, MCP and tool integration, agent workflows, and model limitations.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks and quality signals for non-deterministic model outputs.
• Expertise in CI/CD automation, policy-as-code, supply chain integrity, and observability fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/STEM or equivalent practical experience, with strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building internal developer platforms or driving organization-wide AI tooling adoption.
• Expertise in AWS, AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience leading large-scale refactoring, modernization, or deprecation programs that reduce technical risk.
