Sr. Member of Technical Staff (AI)

Salary: $180,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

hirify.global is building an AI-powered risk-management platform that replaces traditional insurance brokerage workflows with proprietary technology, automation, and AI agents.

What you will do

• Design and ship AI-powered workflows using LLMs, the internal agent platform, and supporting tools.
• Own solutions through prototyping, production deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Create extensible abstractions, APIs, and system patterns for workflow development.
• Architect reliable agentic systems for multi-step reasoning, structured extraction, and multi-agent coordination.
• Build evaluation frameworks that measure agent quality, identify regressions, and support iterative improvements.
• Develop APIs used by product interfaces and AI agents while collaborating closely with non-technical teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building software in production environments.
• Hands-on experience applying LLMs to real-world problems and building AI-powered solutions used by real users.
• At least 2 years in the same company in a previous role, with demonstrated promotions and recognition.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, sensible system design, and consistent delivery.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and the challenges of making AI reliable in production.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex business workflows.
