Product Test Engineer (RF and Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Design, build, and support automated test systems for high-volume RF, digital, and power electronics production.
• Work with system and design engineers to define test requirements and verify system and subsystem performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to investigate yield issues, troubleshoot non-conforming hardware, and develop calibration and maintainability procedures.
• Run hardware qualification campaigns under varied environmental conditions.
• Design and build engineering test sets to support rapid prototyping and investigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of test engineering experience, or an advanced degree without professional experience.
• Production or manufacturing experience, including designing and troubleshooting automated test benches.
• Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and other electrical test equipment.
• Experience with environmental acceptance and qualification test plans, documentation, root-cause analysis, and test requirements writing.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. export authorizations under ITAR.

Nice to have

• Understanding of RF, power, and digital engineering concepts.
• Experience with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, power meters, AutoCal modules, and power amplifiers.
• Object-oriented programming with C++, C, or Python and software development workflows using GitHub.
• Experience with PCB design, Altium, CAD, SolidWorks, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and VISA/SCPI commands.
